Vega capabilities
Your files, found in seconds
Vega reads your project folders on your computer and finds parts, drawings, quotes and documents by their name, their properties or what they say. Without opening SOLIDWORKS.
What Vega does
- Searches by words and by meaning: “which specification mentions galvanising?” finds the document even if it uses other words.
- Parts, assemblies and drawings: properties, configurations, where each part is used and which is its drawing, PDF or DXF.
- Text documents: PDF, Word, Excel and plain text, read page by page.
- “Where was I?”: picks up what you were doing from recent documents and conversations.
- From your phone: it finds a document and sends it to you.
- The index stays on your computer only and Vega never changes your folders: it only reads them.
